Family and Carers Support Group

Would you like to connect with other carers?

All carers and families who provide support for a family member who has a mental illness, disability or is frail aged are welcome to join us.

Lots of activities and self-care activities including:

• Seated Zumba/ Drumbeats
• Yarning
• Carers Group lunches
• Picnics/ Carers Week Picnic
• Guest Speakers
• Arts and craft
• Shared Lunch
• Lawn bowls
• Morning Tea's
• Joining other community events

When: Every Wednesday
Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm
Where: Kalgoorlie (different venues every week)

Wellness Circle - Esperance

Mental Health Family & Carer Support presents Wellness Circle group.

Centrecare’s Goldfields Mental Health Family & Carers Support Service provides an open group for individuals that would like some support with learning skills, building resilience, self awareness, and connecting to inner peace and strength.

Supporting Carers To Manage:

• Anxiety
• Anger
• Low Mood
• Sleep Difficulties
• Interpersonal difficulties
• Loneliness

A behavioural change program for men.

A 24 week educational program aimed at identifying and challenging violent and abusive behaviour.

An open and safe group where we learn to:

• Understand the impact of violence on others
• Acknowledge the use of violence and taking full responsibility for the behaviour
• Learn to make safer choices
• Develop the ability to act in respectful ways
• Look at things from other’s perspectives
• Understand how you might have made the family feel unsafe and not respected.
   

Registration is essential.
